Production
You’ve spent a lot of time working on your songs, you’ve rewritten and reworked to the point where you’re unable to hear it with fresh ears anymore. This is where a producer can step in to take the song to the next level.
A producer’s job is to bring out the best in the song while interpreting the artistic vision and direction. With fresh ears, a producer can bring a lot to the table from arrangement, new instrument parts and guidance to create cohesion and glue between the elements of the song.
As a musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Guyy has a helped dozens of artists discover their sound in the studio. Guyy always aims to serve the demands of the music and the motives of the artist.
RECORDING
Recording is the part of the process that most people envision when it comes to creating a record.
After practicing your parts, prepping and checking your instruments, restring guitars and replacing drum heads - you'll be ready to hit the studio!
After loading in your gear we'll start setting up microphones to capture the sound from each instrument. We'll test different setups to get the desired tone from each instrument.
At Amberly Studios we have mic's for every occasion, from vintage to modern sounds - we can make it happen.
Mixing & Mastering
This is where the song really comes together.
We take the recorded parts and balance them together to create a stereo mix. This can include, but is not limited to:
EQ, Compression, Parallel Compression, Limiting, Normalization, Saturation, Automation, Delay, Reverb, Creating Busses and Sends, and Balancing Levels.
Once the mix nears completion you'll be able to request any changes you'd like.
No matter where your recordings started, we can bring out the best in your raw tracks.
